"While I eventually served as president of HBO, it was during my tenure as the head of marketing that I became intimately familiar with the work of Glenn and his agency Pere360. At the time, HBO was producing some of its most iconic, culturally significant programming in all of television and the creativity of the advertising had to match the creativity of the programming ; "It's Not TV. It's HBO", The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Real Time With Bill Maher, Band of Brothers, Entourage, live events like; Jerry Seinfeld, The Rolling Stones, Springsteen, and Robin Williams. Glenn did them all and much more. He defined HBO Sports and crafted over 400 fight campaigns for HBO Boxing. I believe, to this day, his PPV campaigns still hold all records for buys and revenue.. Simply, we counted on Glenn's vision, daily, to reach our 40,000,000 customers and it was his creativity to help us garner the highest retention rate in all of entertainment.
Glenn and his team never failed to develop thought-provoking, beautifully designed pieces of advertising that would generate the desired reader response. Since television is a 24/7 business, all the work was produced in a timely fashion, most often, under extraordinary time pressure and he never failed. I would highly recommend Glenn and his agency for any assignment you are considering .
